Oh... I guess I skimmed over the fact that this was to get around the
single-site limitation in the XP Pro version of IIS... So yeah, if
that's the issue, I definitely recommend Apache -- it's honestly not any
more difficult to set up and configure than ColdFusion imo. I use it on
my notebook as well. 

The other link I posted is a good solution to the problem of having
multiple coppies of a framework (MachII, Model-Glue, Fusebox) on the
same server - I used it in my ports of Ray's Galleon Forums to ensure
that they use the version of the framework I had when I ported them.
