Wow, sorry for the absolute grammar failure above..... That's horrible, even for me. Let's try this again. I should add, I've tried setting the returntype on the cffunction in my CFC to plain per the article that was posted, but it still returned the same result. For now I've tacked on a leading pipe (|) to the string before it is returned. I'd rather not have to do a replace using javascript on the front end, and would love to hear alternative methods (or better yet Adobe, how about a fix!). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:315687 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
