Got you. So I guess in the above scenario, when I do a form dot, it resolves to variables dot form dot but if there is no dot (if I am accessing the whole structure), it doesn't try it in the variables scope.
I did a <cfoutput>#structkeylist(form)#</cfoutput> and it came back as blank.
