I don't love that idea... Honestly, almost any CF problem can be fixed without resorting to a reinstallation. Check to see if IIS is configured to check for the existence of a file. If it is, uncheck that option. You may also need to have the JrunScripts virtual directory configured in IIS; I seem to recall that being required but am not sure.
