Yeah, I do a lot of AJAX work/debugging...so Firebug is superior in that respect?

Just be careful with Chrome and the now built-in Flash player. You need to go into chrome://plugins and disable Flash Player if you want access to the debug version of Flash player. I still prefer Firebug for the Javascript debugging on AJAX requests.
