OK, I found the problem. Since some update, for "security reason", the Microsoft text ODBC driver does not read files with extensions other that .txt, .tab, or .csv... First, I do not see why it could be dangerous to read files with .log extension, and last but not least, it would have been so simple to generate a clear message like "does not read files with extensions other that .txt, .tab, or .csv.".
Microsoft is definitely the leader for stupid error messages. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:336042 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
