Assuming you are only going to run a single instance, I would not expect to see a performance difference between Standard and Enterprise. Of course, if you need multiple instances (on the same server), then Enterprise is a requirement. So, basically speaking, unless you need some of the Enterprise-only features, then Standard will suit your needs.
