Just from a simple read I suspect you are getting an error message because the response returned isn't a soap object or an xml object. Try going directly to the ws in a browser and see what you get. Also try appending "?wsdl" to the end of your url in the invokation. You seem to be targeting the asmx instead of the wsdl.
