Adobe fixed the JSON numeric encoding bug in the CF 9 9.01 updater (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/862/cpsid_86263.html) but there is still a bug that encodes 'yes' or 'no' strings to true / false. Adobe really needs to fix this, its been outstanding for a long time. Yes, you can append a character or a space (which is what I do), but that can complicate some things when your doing a lot of ajax and back and forth with the data...
