I am successfully running CF10 on IIS 8.5 and Windows 8.1 for my development machine. Works like a treat, you just have to make sure you run the Web Server Config Tool every time you add a new site, and I had to modify the web.config file to allow error messages to pass through to CF and not be caught by IIS, but nothing that a few minutes of Googling didn't solve.
