Ok now I feel really stupid. Weeks ago I decided that I needed an empty Aplication.cfc in the directory with the CFCs. I was in the command line so I decided to do a ECHO. > Application.cfc and that would have given a file with a blank line. However I missed the period right after echo and the response to that is Echo is on. See something really easy and stupid but I didn't catch it until you said something.
