This subject may be better suited for the CFCommunity List, but...my advice
is make sure that EXPLICITLY define what you are and are not going to do. if
you leave that open on any point, you could find yourself doing more than
you bargained. It is well worth it to nail that down before doing anything
else.

does any one have a basic formal agreement docs, or contracts i could modify

a formal contract which outlines your fees, returns of content and
information if we part company, termination of agreement, turn around time,
