OT: I'm hoping someone who knows more about systems than I do can help me
...
I'm getting spam coming into my email account at the rate of 10-20 a
minute for 20 hours now. The messages are all identical, including the
time and headers. Every time I collect my email from that server, there
are 10-12 messages there. Which would kind of imply that when there are
10 messages it stops sending them. (How could that be? )
I traced the domain name and phoned the guy who is listed as the
administrator, and whose name appears on the emails and to my surprise
(!!) he says he isn't the guy sending them. (That figures - who would put
their own address on spam?) But he seems unable to stop them either.
I have written to the system administrator of the hosting company for that
server, and I hope he's going to do something but last time I wrote to him
I didn't get a response for 5 days. I can't handle all these emails
coming in for 5 days.
Anyone know how I can stop them?
If it helps anyone, I now know how you can earn $15,000 a month working at
home doing absolutely nothing. Just email me for details <g>
The header for these messages is attached ...
