I have apache, MySQL and Coldfusion 4.5 running on a Solaris 8 machine. Can I configure MySQL datasources without an ODBC driver installed on the machine? I've assumed I can't, and been bashing my head up against MyODBC, but with no avail. I can set up the datasource, but it always fails. Any ideas? Anybody using this configuration?
