The "previous developer" coded our site around "mydomain.com". The problem is is when people come to the site via "www.mydomain.com". CF issues one set of cookies for www.mydomain.com, and then, as the system is processing their login, it sets cookies for "mydomain.com". CF sees this as a new session, issuing a new CFID, and dropping all of the session variables that were created by their login. Is there a simple solution to force the two to be treated as the same cookie source? Or to force the www. appenders to go to the "mydomain.com" domain without a cookie being issued for the www. site?
