Hi all, I'm a little too deep with a Perl script that converts .htm to .rtf on the fly. I would like to handle headers, footers, page breaks, etc but the script is incomplete (although it is open source). There's very little time or $ left on the job so getting into Crystal Reports or the like is not really an option. I've read many posts re: this subject but I'm basically looking for a quick and ease fix to the requirements.
- generate a screen version of a proposal - push 'save as word (rtf)' button - note that slippery cffile/cfcontent/cflocation is worked out - save/open file ... so far so good - I must now insert headers/footers/etc, options are... -- word macro (template file) -- learn perl & digest rtf spec by next monday ;) -- find a better .html->rtf conversion tool in the open source / tag library world -- beg for help! Finally, my (ideal) choice is to handle this server side ... which will make the end-user's task easier. Any input appreciated! Thanks, Mike ______________________________________________________________________ Get Your Own Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation · $99/Month · Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusionb FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-talk@houseoffusion.com/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
