Hi, We have developed a CFX tag for coldfusion for ftp upload and download. Our main reason for developing it was for speed, the coldfusion cfftp putfile and getfile are too slow.
As an example, the cfftp tag taks 7-9 seconds to upload a file while our tag takes 1-2 seconds (ftp to same server, same file). I am prepared to let people try it out for testing purposes only.
