Thanks for being always helpful.

I have one quick question.

There is already code that queries the database, then
assigns the results to variables using <cfset>. Then
it creates a file using <cffile> and inputs these
variables in the file with comma in between them, thus
creating a comma delimeted string.

Then, <cfmail> tag is used to send email with this
file as an attachment. The person opening this email
will receive this email, then, they will open the
attachment in excel.

Is there a way to have cf create a excel file using a
query output?

I need to send a excel file instead of a text file in
the email.
