1. Stop the CF server. 2. Edit the registry file (typically /opt/coldfusion/registry/cf.registry). 3. Find the entry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Allaire\ColdFusion\CurrentVersion\Server\UseAdminPassword and set it to "0". 4. Save the registry file. 5. Start the CF server. 6. Open the CF Administrator - it won't require a password - and enable the password, and set the password to the desired value.
