Right,

On the juice again I see no one can believe a word you say, I highly doubt
that even the beta didn't support java and CF has it's own java so what you
are saying makes no sense, Scorpio Alpha 2 perhaps in your dreams.

Subject: [cfaussie] SOT - Windows Vista and ColdFusion

I tried the beta recently, mainly to see if my notebook (an Acer
Ferrari 3400) would run it OK.

It did - amazingly well too.

However - at least with the beta - it is impossible to even install
ColdFusion to see if it will work.

Why? It seems, at least with the beta that Vista does not support Java.
WTH I thought as Java is a very mature product (version 6 was only just
released).

So my question is will ColdFusion be supported on Windows Vista? When
will it be supported and this Java issue only a beta issue or rectified
in the final build?

BTW I thought Vista was pretty cool - best version of Windows yet -
very slick but might take a bit of getting used to.

Am back on Scorpio Alpha 2 on XP now as I know that works well!
