I'm probably wrong, but this could be the actual release rather than a public beta.
If it is, then bring it on. I'm not a big fan of the "It's coming crap" but makes me go hunting. Only downer would be that I put budget for this upgrade into next Financial Year :( PS: They should have held off for a year and released on 08/08/08 could have been one of those, on this day in history.
