Why dont you buy and use the the standard version for starters. If you have a client that requires the enterprise version, then pass the cost on. Remember to include fees for you require for testing and production server setup and ongoing maintenance. You could also split the cost between your existing clients if you can onsell the benefits to them. Then you wont be wasting money. There are a number of deployment options you can choose for the Enterprise version. The multiserver config option is a popular install option. Just one option.
