Steve,

Yes it means no CFSCRIPT.

The reason for this, is that CFSCRIPT is incomplete, I prefer script syntax
myself, but you simply can't do what you need in CFSCRIPT you have to swap
between tags and scripts, as this is a learning / tutorial website, I
thought it better to stick with Tags where every function or action can be
done using tags. This is as to not confuse new developers and keep things
consistent.

I also feel that they are not continuing the development of CFSCRIPT making
it a good candidate to become depreciated.

A new training based website aimed at providing a collection of good quality
tutorials will be launched on the 1st of September AEST. This is a 100% free
community based website, there will be no advertising.

Every tutorial must meet the following requirements

1. Must run on CF8
2. Must be self contained (ie not require frameworks or third party
libraries)
3. Must use the coldfusion demo databases if it uses databases
4. Must have a working example
5. Must be tag based and not script based

We are looking for people to either author a tutorial or offer an existing
tutorial that they may have blogged, simply post your interest here or email
<http://groups.google.com/groups/profile?enc_user=MTRrNxEAAADmTh4PiwOMsRp4h2
CvmN9NdPDdXUjlbOn07G5UBWfiIg> me. We will take the tutorial, ensure it is
appropriate and not too similar to existing tutorials. Authors will be
credited.

Visit the site learncf.com <http://learncf.com/> for a sample tutorial so
that you can see what they will look like.
