Thanks steve, the PDF one is a good point. >From what i read about google mini is you don't have all the restrictions of the API because the results are served from the mini box. You then style the results page with XSLT. But that does mean linking out the some other URL like 'search.mysite.com' and duplicating nav HTML etc etc
