Rob, AMD used to be the shit before P4 got up past 2Ghz speed I think..
P4's run much cooler than AMD therefore don't need as big a fan which equates to quieter machine which is most important thing for me nowdays.. in everyday use I can't tell the diff between my AMD XP 1700 and P4 1.8Ghz systems..
