Yeah thats why I made the SQL dynamic, and using sp_executesql also speeds up (should) the execution plan, thus being quicker than doing it outside an SP.

I replaced all the @params with constants but it just would not accept any syntax for TOP other than a numeric constant (it would not even accept just TOP (10 * 3) - for example - it had to be TOP 30).
