Hi guys,

This is not really a CF question... but I thought some people here might
have some ideas or experience.

We're quoting on building an online searchable updateable knowledgebase
application for one of our existing clients - pretty straightforward stuff.
However, they would also like the option of exporting the current
knowledgebase articles for shipping on CD. Presumably this CD version would
need to be indexed and searchable.

I thought with all the Robo products that Macromedia might have a solution,
but after scanning through the site my head hurts. One option would be to
create a big-arse PDF file, but if the knowledgebase gets too big that
wouldn't work too nicely. Could a Flash or JavaScript interface be created
for the CD, which could index and search a set of static html or xml files?
Or can anyone else think of any other funky solutions?

Thanks for any pointers,
Kay.
