yeah what steve said, the client will have to setup your message in multi-part formats, outlook does it, while Thunderbird doesn't i think.. you know those annoying popups "do you want to send this message as HTML aswell" or something. Just go back to him and say "I could put HTML in place but they are open to viral attacks"...in that just scare him back to his little play pen and leave the hard stuff to us folks who know that the start button shouldn't make engine sounds when you click it....
