We are having some issues here at work with our CFMX 6.1 --> SQL connections, in that it seems to constantly spike in terms of CPU (RAM itself doesn't seem to move as much).
At first we thought it was a rogue query, but closer inspection there is no consistent pattern (ie we scoped out Enterpise Manager and took a snapshot of what queries are being fired off). It's as if Coldfusion MX requests a query to be initiated to SQL Server, SQL Server proceeds to carry out that instruction but can't hand it back to Coldfusion server, and simply places itself in a holding pattern until coldfusion can accept it.. ie loss of connection or something along those lines.
