I got the same letter yesterday. After many requests, I've also given up on trying to get removed from Sys-Con's email lists. I've posted on this before, but here's the code a Sys-Con server spat out when I tried to delete my details via their newsletter unsubscribe link (http://sys-con.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED])... Error Executing Database Query. [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query. The error occurred in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\globaldelete.cfm: line 6 4 : <cfquery name="addaddress" datasource="email"> 5 : INSERT INTO master(email) 6 : VALUES ('#url.email#') 7 : 8 : </cfquery> Doesn't look like they're exactly removing my address does it? Despite some good journals, I'd strongly advise against anyone supplying their details to this company. They don't seem to have any respect for customer privacy. --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
