your problem is going to be with CMYK

to produce a PDF thats able to be separated, all the images within that PDF need to also be CMYK images.

Otherwise when the software that does the PDF separations tries to break up the file, you dont get good quality results.

If its just text you should be ok.

200dpi is pretty low. most print quality jobs requie 600, 1200 or even 2400 dpi files.
