Ha! I guess I answered the same question twice with two very different code snippets. The one I posted on webforums last year is closer to the production code I use, but I use it for a very different and limited purpose (breadcrumbs). I think the code I posted today is faster (less looping) for the broader purpose of generating trees. Both should have same results though.
