(Is it just me, or are my posts seriously not reaching the list? Tom, I'm sending this directly to you for the first time, and directly to the list for the third. If it doesn't show, would you mind forwarding it on?)

I happen to have just finished one. It's not very nice in terms of application design, but it does the trick for me.

Here's the zip. Make sure in the buildcfc.cfm template that you change your root path on line 234 from "/components/" to whatever your cfc root is.

The _javascript_ validation is all duplicated in the CF code; however, the form will feel limiting if it's used without _javascript_ - but the script is valid and works in IE6 and Firebird .7 (Moz 1.4). Careful with earlier gecko browsers - they crash on my heavy DOM usage.

Comments much more than welcome.

(Update since seeing Tyler Fitch's post: This is nothing compared to your application, I'm sure, which sounds quite nice. This simply gives a form which asks for your object design and allows for you to input it. It will then create a .cfc file in the correct directory (based on the package input), or present it on screen. There are some valuable options, and probably some not-so-valuable ones.)

Subject: [CFCDev] CFC Code generator

Does anyone know if a CFC Code generator exists?

Thanks -

I have not failed.  I've found 10,000 ways that won't work.
