Since most programming errors are syntax, typos, and that 
sort of thing, it may help if you submitted the code you 
actually wrote instead of a description of the code you 
intended to write. Your description sounds like it ought to 
work fine.

My guess is that you've got a typo or a scoping issue with 
your call.
