We cluster and have all of our CF source code on a NAS device. I find the
NAS solution much easier to manage file synching, and it's much easier fro
backups. With today's technology in the NAS area, I'd go as far as to say
our NAS is just as reliable as an onboard drive.
Performance wise, we notice no difference.

Your right but we also have electronic document management. having
those files on a file server where we have regular back ups has been a
life saver.
