Well I have to admit that my initial forays into eclipse were abysmal but after I did some digging and prodding I have a product that easily stands up to DW and CFStudio. I do not understand why people complain about a product that is free. With some proper investigation and elbow grease Eclipse does all you ask.

Don't get too attached to this while it can be done and I'm sure some clever fellow will do it. I fail to see why this would be a critical point for you.

- Find/replace limited to a selection

Lack of the feature, as you are assuming, is untrue you can so this type of search. Not to mention the "all documents in a project" search too. grep anyone?

- A two-mouse-click GET and PUT process

I have this working perfectly and got it down to a 1 click process. I have the FTP-WEBDAV plugin installed and in the CFML perspective I opened the synchronization view and bang one click upload add and extra click for download. And it will on an ongoing basis, if you set it up, check for changes in code so that you can use ftp to Team up also.

- Line-wrap

Not such a insurmountable hurdle to deal with in comparison to all the excellent features available.

- Create an empty edit window without generating a new file

while a trifle inconvenient it still remains a trifle thing.
