Marcantonio,

Thanks for asking.  You download Adalon 3.0.1 (currently only has FB3/4.x support) and a fully functional eval key from http://www.adalon.net/downloads/index.jsphttp://www.adalon.net/support/adalon3.x/index.jsp has a link to a 5 minute Online Demo which you may want to start with to get your arms around Adalon's functional scope.

Adalon 2.6, http://www.adalon.net/support/adalon2.6/downloads.jsp, has an old version of our alpha CFMX support in case you want to take a look before we get the CFMX/CFC/mach-ii support onto the 3.x version in the coming weeks.

I would also recommend that you read Sean Corfield's review on his blog, http://www.corfield.org/blog/index.cfm?do=blog.entry&entry=7D356129-C42C-62D0-92F643F3E81665E9, to get some perspective on his experience, noting that his review is based on FB4.1 support, i.e. pre-OO support.

Adalon is written completely in Java and stores all design information in XML.  Each design element in Adalon is a separate xml file allowing limitless import/export/extension flexibility.  With the release of Adalon 3.0, the entire Adalon application layer is completely open for design UI, Design doc generator, and/or code framework generator extension.

Hope that helps.

Bjorn,

Do you have a beta or trial that I can test ?
Can I, with the actual version, export classes (or maybe diagrams) as XML ?

Regards.

Please pardon my jumping in here (my inaugural post, so please be kind :-)) and allow me to give you a quick FYI that Adalon 3.0, http://www.adalon.net/support/adalon3.x/index.jsp, will have alpha CFC, CFMX, and mach-ii design/modeling support in the next release, Adalon 3.0.2, due out towards the end of February/beginning of March; followed by Adalon 3.1 with gold versions after compiling User Feedback.  We greatly appreciate feedback, so if you are interested, please register for our forum list, http://www.adalon.net/processor.jsp?fuseaction=Forum.ListMessages&forumID=20 or send me an email directly, [EMAIL PROTECTED].

I'll keep this short for now and post back if anyone is interested in more info on our OO support plans before we release Adalon 3.0.1; otherwise I'll post back when 3.0.1 is available for download (assuming of course that I have not made some major posting blunder this go around).

I use Together Control Center (which costs plenty $$$) but it's good
so I'd also recommend the Community Edition as long as it has XMI
export.
