Ok,
So im going to go out and grab a couple books tonight, out of the ones that have been recommended it seems that Head First Design Patterns and Design Patterns explained are the ones most recommended.
Now, are these books centered on a particular language? If so, which ones are not?
I need to be able to apply these CONCEPTS to any of the languages im working with (CF, AS, etc).
Someone said something about the head First book being modeled around Java, but the description sounds perfect as it says "... covers an enormous swath of concepts and techniques, including nearly all the patterns you’ll use most (observer, decorator, factory, singleton, command, adapter, faade, template method, iterator, composite, state, proxy)."
Keep in mind that despite the fact I have a decent grasp on some of the basic concepts im really looking for a ground up approach.
Thanks again everyone.
