Yes thank you. This thread has been helpful. Still trying to work it out in
my head. I think for the time being, I am going to work on component
creation (entity beans, gateways, collections, etc.) that are framework
independent... then come back and figure out how I want the framework to
work.

Good catch, Peter. There are some other gotchas to be aware of, as well,
which I outlined in the article. Some of them
are general (and even apply to doing forwards in ASP or JSP), while some of
them could well be different in 6.1 or 7 (or
7.01). So the overall warning about them is a good one. Still, I hope, Ben,
that it helped you see that you can indeed
do server-side transfers of control in CFML. :-)
