yes that's what we use as default for all our cfreport i18n bits. in general it should work. for updates, see

The problem is not that Arabic letters are not displayed at all; it's just that there are some missing letters in the output.
ligature stuff? do you have the codepoints for the missing chars? do these chars display in the report builder ok but drop-off during PDF generation?
