Why don't you add the code as a parameter to the template?

| We have a client request to change all of the IIS error messages to a
| specific page. This page is to print a user friendly message but also
| contain the HTTP Status Code that generated the error.
| For example, 404 or 500. The question is can CF or Java read the HTTP
| status code on the REQUEST coming in? We evaluated
| GetHttpRequestData(), but have not found any way to retrieve the http
| status code.
