Subject: [CFCDev] OT: catalog of data models and schemas

pls forgive this OT post but no other CF list I belong to would know

a couple of years ago I stumbled on a website with a huge catalog of database
schemas and data models - close to a couple of hundred of them, most with
complete SQL to create in (at least - for demo) MSAccess and other database
platforms.

it was put together by an analyst of many years (IIRC over 20) as a way of
providing reference material and to give back to the developer community. A
teaching aid for students.

It had multitudes of different schemas eg: simple music catalogs, medical
patients (eg: doctors surgery), inventory and warehousing, your typical online
stores and shoping carts, full-blown HR systems, payroll, event management
(what I'm after at the moment) and a great deal more.

Sure everyone has their own idea but they were an interesting perspective on
someone elses take on solving a problem (ie reminder of features forgotten)

do ppl know what I mean and have seen the same?

It's such a vague thing to look for I've got buckys in finding it in Google (if
indeed it's still on the web). Had I had the tools at te time I would have
hoovered the whole site up for future reference but even my notes on it (and
URL) are long gone

anyone?

thanx
