Hello All, Hope it isn't TOO out of order to mention this, but I've finally put together a blog. Focus is on application generation, but in practice there will be a lot of posts on practical design patterns (from factories to optimistic db locking).
Brian Rinaldi has got the scoop over at Remote Synthesis: http://www.remotesynthesis.com/blog/index.cfm/2006/6/25/Peter-Bell-is-Bloggi ng I'll also be building a simple framework from the ground up over the next few weeks and posting on the design decisions so I'm hoping that'll create some useful discussions on architectural patterns. It won't be as good as the community frameworks, but I think it'll expose, document and start discussion on the key decisions required when building a simple framework and I think that will be worth a lot more than the code itself. Will also be launching CF Template shortly via the blog which is a single (open source) cfc for people who want to generate code without concatenating strings (or Arrays) and who don't want to learn XSLT. Best Wishes, Peter ---------------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to cfcdev.
