I was
going to suggest checking the mappings.
I
would suspect this is what fixed it.
Check
your dev box and see if it has that mapping already...

I ended up adding a CF mapping to the base /com folder and that seemed to fix it, although I don't know for sure that was the actual fix or just a coincidence.

I seem to remember that this can happen if CF doesn't for some reason recompile your template. I've run into this a few times ... the template was changed on my dev server, but when uploaded, somehow the production server didn't recognize that it had changed and it wasn't recompiled.
