CFEclipse. I still use Dreamweaver for some html templating tasks and primarily static sites. The way projects are organized just never sat well with me in Dreamweaver and no SVN support without purchasing 3rd party products. There is also ANT and other feature that can be used for automated build and testing processes. The primarily thing that gets me in CFEclipse is lacking html and css attribute insight or whatever it is called but there are other apps that could be launched for this purpose.

CF Eclipse also. DW is fine if you need the visual mode, but for pure programming I like CF Eclipse. Google CF Eclipse to check out the various blog postings on the cool features (as not all have been migrated to the official site yet). Mark Drew also did some good videos a while back on using CFE. There are a ton of features and capabilities with more on the way and I find CFE to be the no brainer solution for an IDE in CF. If you like a visual layout or aren't really comfortable with HTML I guess DW has benefits and if you're an old Skool hacker who writes macros to generate their CFCs in-editor, thinks auto-complete is for wimps and who comes up with performance optimized RegExs to distinguish between cereal brands in the minimum number of characters when bored while walking down the cereal aisle in the grocery store, you'll probably be happier in TextMate, but for the rest of us, I think CFE is the way to go. As I venture into Flex territory, Adobe has seen fit to introduce me to Eclipse. I am interested in your opinions on IDEs in the CF world. Thanks, Jim Cassata You are subscribed to cfcdev.
