Transfer is very cool. There's a lot of power in that framework.

For service components, (like that component that sends out emails that the
component that manages your users needs to use) i'd highly recommend using
ColdSpring.

Not a very informative answer, but ... if you're using CFCs, those 2
frameworks are very handy to have in your toolkit. They'll save you heaps of
time down the road, and not only coding time, but also time you'd spend
trying to figure out how to get all your components working together
properly.
