I did think about that, but ultimately decided that it'd be easier to read in a 
filesystem with a character more commonly used as a delimiter. No one's 
expected to parse these except humans; the only set characteristic is that they 
are monotonically increasing within a scan-build process.*

*...which, of course, will fail during daylight savings transitions, but I 
think that's acceptable.
