Title: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error
We encounetered this at one time.  I will need to see if I can find someone who recalls what the resolution was.

What I can tell you off the top of my head is that the error you are getting is Internet Explorer dying.  It is written in MS Visual C++ and it is the one causing the error (i.e. MS is the vendor here).  However, I seem to recall it being an incompatibility between the CFGrid component (which is a Java applet) and Internet Explorer that causes IE to die.  Also, because the grid is a Java applet, the Java Virtual Machine you have installed on your machine is a factor.

I will let you know if I can get additional info about the resolution.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
X Runtime error

We are getting this error sporadically when using CFGrid in CF5 on a laptop (dont know if it happens on a desktop).

The error also says the following:

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORER.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

The error happens when we click on a row in the grid (the selectmode is set to row). We are also using the single version CF5 server.

I have checked the Microsoft Knowledge Base and only found the following article:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error... (Q206516)

It deals with the error when using a specific program from a specific vendor and basically says it is the vendors problem. I cant find anything at the Macromedia site about it. Anyone have this problem before?
