Hi Shane, Flash Remoting works with either JRUN of Cold Fusion MX. I've been using it with CFMX and CFC's and I've been quite pleased with how it works. Actually, it rocks! You do need to install the Remoting components and make sure that you instantiate the NetConnection properly in your actionscript in order to get it running. After that it's pretty simple, and there is a great NetConnection debugger that traces your requests to and from the server so that you can see where the errors are occurring.
Feel free to email me off the list if you have some specific questions. Do you need to install Jrun 4 or can I just install the new ColdFusion MX with the Flash Remoting Components? If anyone has any tips or if I can chat with any of you for 15 minutes, just to get me started I would really appreciate it.
