I think I'm getting a handle on this but there isn't anyone directly
work with that can help me with this.

We've been running CF7 standalone on one box with Apache 2 on another
server in a reverse proxy configuration.

We just installed CF8 side by side the CF7 and are trying to reverse
proxy the Apache to that install.

I always thought that the Apache was my webserver but I was just told
that NOooo, it is only a traffic cop sending and forwarding request to
the webserver/cfserver, which happens to be IIS.

I've created a new Web on IIS. Now from what I've read in need to run
the web server configuration tool to connect the cf8/jrun to the IIS
server.

There's a couple of things I'm fuzzy about yet.

How do I point to the right CFIDE folder?

I would like to serve non-cf files too and I know I read somewhere there
is a way to map them?

Thanks,

Jim
